Tryphena's creativity continues to flow through her jewellery craftsmanship, crafting ethereal pieces that reflect her effortless beauty and soulful spirit. Each piece tells a story, a testament to her passion for storytelling through art, "Jewellery was always something I created to express myself alongside what I’d say was my soul's work”, she explains. "I used to run groups for girls aged 10 to 18 years old, around becoming women. I trained in the UK to work with teenagers after being in the yoga and tantra world and seeing how much I could have benefited with some of the tools when I was struggling as a teen”
Presently, Tryphena directs her attention toward similar themes during her retreats for individuals aged 13 to 18. She expresses, "This is where my focus lies for the upcoming year," underscoring her dedication to guiding adolescents through crucial stages of development. Looking ahead, she harbors aspirations beyond her current endeavors, having initiated her journey at the Green School in Bali. Her dream is to extend her reach to other locations, fueled by the rewarding experience of accompanying a particular group since the age of 13, now approaching 17.
Continuing, she elaborates on the group's focus, "In the group, we explore nature connection, mother-daughter connection, sexuality, grief, rites of passage, communication, and embodiment practices to approach mental health - all areas we wish we had received education around." This comprehensive approach reflects Tryphena's commitment to providing holistic support for young individuals navigating the complexities of growing up.
Gianluca, with his keen eye for beauty and detail, captures the essence of life through his lens. Having spent time in the bustling streets of New York, shooting fashion campaigns and directing mesmerizing cinematography, Gianluca brings a unique perspective to Son of a Baker. In addition to his photography and filmmaking prowess, Gianluca has also ventured into the world of surfboard shaping, crafting boards that allow riders to glide through the waves with unparalleled grace and precision.
